Destiny's Beginnings

King's Players Mission Vision came after a Youth Motivational seminar at the International Mission Board Learning Center and was further defined at the Baptist College Mobilization Summit in March, 1999. We were on the fast track by the end of April that year with exploratory trips to set up projects in Greece, Tanzania, and Poland.

Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe ,even if you were told. (Habakkuk 1:15)

Two experiences in May made the Habakkuk prophecy look tame to my experiences.

The Field Summit on Student Mobilization in Ashburnham, England exposed me to missionaries from all over the world. I spent four days with a group of people that were sold out to serving Christ in so many different ways and so many different places.

The second experiences was to take thirteen college students to Taiwan. Once in Taiwan we saw missionaries weep because they had prayed so long for someone to come help them. The point that God has struck home to my heart is that we (everyone) have the opportunity to go anywhere and do most anything in God's name with power. Missions are for everyone that God leads to get involved. This became my Destiny.

Destiny's Vision

Our vision is to offer the best possible mission experiences to high school students, college students, and adults. We will utilize those trained and led to be a part of our mission vision, especially youth ministers and campus ministers.

Our purpose is to share Jesus the Christ through word and deed as led by the Holy Spirit.

We want to develop areas of ministry that will be repeated for several years. Each mission point would be a continuous ministry unless otherwise led. The purpose of continuous ministry is so we can nurture the seeds that will be planted each year.
