Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How safe are the mission trips?
A: The H&H principle refers to Mel & Pat's grandchildren, Hunter and Heath. All trips will have this principle in place. First, anyone who goes would be treated as safely as Hunter and Heath would. More important, those we go to share the gospel with will be treated as if Hunter and Heath were being told the good news. All aspects of the mission trip must be prepared to the best of our ability: spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Q: Does Destiny provide overseas insurance for my child?
A: Yes. If you would like to check out the insurance provided you can view the provider's web site at www.aaintl.com

Q: What is the leadership structure of Destiny?

A: The basic leadership structure for youth on a mission project is: One trained youth minister, campus minister, or pastor to be in charge of the project. One college student would go with every seven youth. Each project could have a modified structure as needed.
