  • I understand that I will be under the guidelines and policies of the IMB.
  • I agree to abstain from the use of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and any other behavior that would hinder the gospel of Jesus Christ during my term of service as a missionary. I understand that use of these substances or involvement in questionable conduct will be cause for dismissal as a missionary.
  • Furthermore, expenses for each trip, based upon current quotes, are subject to increase. Dates, travel arrangements and schedules are subject to change without notice. Travel destinations may be changed and/or canceled in the event of any political, natural or mission related crisis.
  • All application fees and contributions are nonrefundable. If any individual is unable to participate in their assigned trip, the funds he/she has on deposit with Destiny, less incurred expenses, will remain credited toward a future trip for one year.
  • In the event of cancellation of any trip, Destiny reserves the right to reassign team members to another trip of similar expense.
  • Although donations received by Destiny go toward exempt project expenses, the IRS stipulates that to receive a tax deduction, the donor must release control of the money donated to the nonprofit organization. For this reason money cannot be refunded and cannot be designated for a person.
