Mission Opportunities

Sports Teams (June 4-July 27, 2008)

Son Bound Team Son Bound led by Jon Durlauf; a team of 4-5 college students. You must be willing to participate in sporting activities (soccer/basketball, etc) at camps. Team members will need relationships with the kids and be flexible. Also, it would be helpful if you have workshop skills and/or some sort of performance ability incorporated into worship. You will most often go to a Polish camp, and they incorporate the team into what they are doing to enhance it. You will be able to add unique elements to their worship, recreation and bible study. Hopefully we will have enough interest to have a second team. Cost: Air Faire + $750 land costs. (Air faire as of December 07 is $1315)

Eagle's Nest or Warsaw Orphanage (June 20-July 12, 2008)

Angelica You could leave June 20 and work for a week at the orphanage during the last week of school or you can leave June 20 and have a camp at the orphanage followed by a camp at Elblang Baptist Church. Cost is $,300-$2,700.

Ashburnham Place Retreat (July 1-July 4, 2008)

Battle, England Destiny is planning on having an exciting time of working with those who want to do International Missions and work with people doing International Missions. We are encouraging leaders to join us for a time of seeking God’s will for the future of working together in missions.

We have reserved a boys and a girls dorm. This will be a retreat of a lifetime and all meals are provided plus a fantastic conference area and a total retreat center. Group Leaders will use this time to plan future mission trips. Deposit $100.00--Final $100.00
